Psychedelics
History and Culture
Psychedelics have been utilised by a wide range of cultures for thousands of years. Although there is growing excitement and promising clinical research studies on psychedelic-use to support mental health and wellbeing, we still lack engrained cultural frames of meaning to support us in working with these substances.
Psychedelic experiences open novel connections and insights by transcending the everyday, habitual mode of perception. It makes sense, therefore that you would require at least another person, ideally a network or community of people to support you to incorporate these experiences into your life.
Integration Sessions
Psychedelics can open up raw and powerful experiences that might feel initially overwhelming.
Some psychedelic experiences can point toward challenging life experiences or emotions from the past that you may not have had time or space to process and understand.
I provide individual sessions that can support you to integrate such experiences into a clear story and fit them into your everyday life. This can be a gradual and challenging process but has the potential to open deeper connections with yourself and other people.
Work with psychedelics
I am a graduate member of the Institute of Psychedelic Therapy.
I provide therapy on clinical research studies at Imperial College, including studies into Fibromyalgia and OCD. I also provide support with PsyCare harm reduction & welfare service at festivals.
I run regular open, integration groups with the Psychedelic Society. Additionally, I give talks and presentations on my work and research.
